The Mezzomiglio hut is located at an altitude of 1,295 metres, in the locality of the same name, on a natural terrace in a privileged position, surrounded by pastures that are home to cows, goats, horses and donkeys. The view extends on one side over the Cansiglio plateau and on the other over Lake Santa Croce, the Alpago basin and the Valbelluna Dolomites. On weekends and holidays, the farmhouse offers sales and catering services with a menu that features home-grown products, such as butter, cheeses, fresh, smoked and spiced ricotta, pastin, cured meats, grappa and herbal teas. The mountain hut is also the starting point of numerous paths that wind between Alpago and the Cansiglio forest. They are all well maintained and great for racing.
