Stocksee is an idyllic lake in Holstein Switzerland. Surrounded by forests, meadows, and rolling hills, the 1.3-square-kilometer body of water is ideal for swimming, canoeing, hiking, and biking. Particularly beautiful: the Stockseehof with its park, rhododendron blossoms, and events.

The Muggesfelde estate from 1725 is now privately owned by Dr. Arendt Oetker (THE Dr. Oetker). The gatehouse is clearly visible from the street. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to enter the estate behind it. A 🅿️ can be found 350 m further west.

Probably the only spot where you can see the lake from the road. It looks pretty big, even though the neighboring Plöner is of course much bigger.
