The oratory, located under the right bank of the Canalbianco, is a modest construction erected in the years 1940-1945 for the inhabitants of the large village of Piantamelon, about three miles away from Adria. It is dedicated to Santa Maria degli Argini for an ex-voto of thanks to the Madonna or to avert the disaster of the all too often recurring flood.
