I hiked past here at the beginning of March. Unfortunately, the flower wheel was still empty then :) But it will surely look good when it's filled with flowers.

This cycle path is long, very long... at least when hiking. It's certainly faster on a bike :) I hiked here at sunset. It's flat, but a great landscape for sunset photos!

A beautiful church! With a great view. I took a break here during my hike. I especially liked the arrangement in front of the church entrance – benches and artwork.

Beautiful garden. You can tell a lot of love went into it. I like it :)

We often stop here. Good, traditional German cuisine. And friendly service. And often the owner herself serves and/or cooks :) Cyclists are also very welcome.

It's practically the "center of the world" in Southern Burgenland. It's been perched atop a volcanic cone for centuries and is impossible to miss. And the view from the top is truly magnificent, in all directions. Admission to the castle courtyard and the view is free. However, exhibitions on various topics are also regularly held within the walls themselves. An admission fee applies for these. All in all, a must-see for every visitor to Southern Burgenland.
