Laupen is tiny. But you'll still be amazed when you look behind the city walls of this historic gem with its castle. Half-timbered houses, arcades and the cobblestones that are so beautiful you'll fall in love with them make it a medieval gem. You should definitely stop off at the Cafe Kreuzplatz near the Freiburgtor. It doesn't get any cozier than this.
