Very easy but beautiful crest!

An easily reachable peak, at the top there is space to move, but always keep your attention high. The exposure on the slopes is remarkable at the top. The view of Versilia and the Apuan peaks is wonderful

Easy climb with very suggestive views. It is worth a stop before climbing the Sagro, or it can be a nice walk even for "beginners" starting from the Carrara refuge. You climb through meadows and a beautiful path overlooking Versilia. From the top you have a perfect view of the summit of the Sagro

It is always a satisfaction to be able to stay a while on peaks like these, the quarries represent the human devastation, the city with its noise is close by but up here nature always has the sceptre of command with its wild appearance even if time has faded it a bit due to human activity.

Typical Apuan peak, beautiful and crunchy, never banal due to the terrain that requires a bit of attention in some sections, obviously with the wet or worse snow things change drastically, there are also many climbing routes.

A modest peak (912 meters) of the Altissimo chain, Monte Folgorito is located on the border between the municipalities of Montignoso (Massa-Carrara) and Seravezza (Lucca). It seems that the name derives from the fact that its peak is a constant target of lightning and thunder during summer storms.
