Around Raddusa there are vast lands cultivated with wheat

Every year in April, do not miss the Artichoke Festival, now in its 32nd edition in 2024.

Borgo Pietro Lupo, the only hamlet of Mineo, was built in 1941 on the initiative of the fascist government, dedicated to the soldier Pietro Lupo. Although conceived as a civic centre, today the village is mostly abandoned, with many uninhabited houses. Nearby, there is the Mongialino Castle.

From this point you can see the village of Raddusa and the wind farm behind above the hill.

Mirabella Imbaccari ('Mirabbeḍḍa', in dialect) has origins in the name given in 1610 by Giuseppe Paternò in honor of his wife Eleonora Mirabella. The municipality has historical links with the ancient Sican city of Imachara. The town is rich in architectural heritage, including the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, in Sicilian-baroque style, and the Palazzo Biscari, which was once the ancient dominant manor in the town. The main square was restored in 2014, embellished with the War Memorial.

Castel di Judica (Jardineḍḍi, in dialect), is a municipality in the metropolitan city of Catania, in Sicily. Located on the slopes of Mount Iudica. Its origins date back to the archaic era and, during Arab rule, it was known as "Zotica". The mountain once housed a 17th century church dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo, of which today only the bell tower remains. Since 2022, it is part of the project of the First World Park of the Mediterranean Lifestyle.

Lake Ogliastro is a Sicilian artificial basin located between the provinces of Enna and Catania, mainly in the territory of Aidone and Ramacca. Created for irrigation purposes thanks to the dam on the Gornalunga river, it has a rich ecosystem that attracts various bird species. A majolica panel by Andrea Parini has decorated one of its banks since 1974, and the lake has been recognized as a Site of Community Interest by the European Union.

Mineo (Minìu or Minèu in dialect), is a municipality located on the north-western slopes of the Iblei mountains. The city preserves historic buildings, many of which date back to the post-earthquake period in the Val di Noto of 1693, such as noble and bourgeois palaces. Among the sites of interest stand out the Serravalle Castle, the rock castle of the Sant'Agrippina Cave and the ancient Porta Adinolfo. Furthermore, the surrounding area offers natural beauty such as the Lamia stream and the archaeological site of Poggio Rocchicella.
