A paved, three-mile multi-use trail that runs alongside CC 215. You can tie it together with the Western Beltway Trail to log some miles without any extreme climbs.

The Northern Beltway Trail is a 3-mile multi-use trail that runs alongside CC 215. It is fully paved and fairly flat, so it is not too challenging a trail to run.

Downtown Summerlin is just south of the Red Rock Resort and Casino is a great outdoor shopping and dining complex with numerous restaurants and cafés, as well as one of the best farmers markets in Vegas every Saturday. This is also where the popular Tour de Summerlin bike race and half-marathon begins and ends.

Cottonwood Canyon is a popular urban park in Summerlin. The path is well maintained and well signed. The path is paved and the scenery alternates between grassy and desert.

The High Point Overlook, as the name implies, is the highest point on the one-way Scenic Loop. Once you hit this point, the majority of the major climbing is done, so this is a great place to pause, grab a sip of water, and admire the stunning views!

Sandstone Quarry is the third pullout along the Scenic Loop Drive. Several popular hiking trails including Turtlehead Peak and Calico Tanks begin here. Along with panoramic views of the Calico Hills area, a historic quarry, you can frequently see rock climbers on the rock formations above you.

Quiet little town just outside Vegas which guards one of the gateways to Red Rock Canyon. It's also the home to a large population of wild burros (donkeys), one of the unofficial symbols of Nevada.
