I recommend not doing the whole route but going back after reaching Grotta dei Frati. In fact, going down further, you reach the river and to continue you literally have to walk into it. There is no path on the side. In addition, after crossing the river and taking the path again, the road is impassable due to a landslide since 2022. Nice route but the circular tour is no longer possible.

This round is not possible. As Sandra said above, down by the stream you can't continue the route. We actually had to climb 400 meters back up on 43% steepness and go back the way we came to reach the lake. DON'T go to the stream, return after you have seen grotto dei frati.

This hike is strenuous up to the grotto but very beautiful. Attention: the route is sometimes very demanding and, with a 43% descent, is really not easy. VERY IMPORTANT, down by the stream we couldn't find the way back to the lake!!!!!!! We then turned off the path and walked to Monastero and walked the SP 91 back to the lake!!!!!

The belvedere on Lake Fiastra is a panoramic point located on the road that connects the hamlet of Fiegni to Lake Fiastra. You are inside the Sibillini Mountains National Park, and from here you can admire a splendid view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
