Lake Fiastra is an artificial basin built in the 1950s to obtain electricity. Its dam is 85 meters high. It is the largest hydroelectric basin in the Marche region. The territory is crossed by the GRANDE RING DEI SIBILLINI HIKING ROUTE which winds for over 120 km in the National Park in 9 stages.

The sanctuary of Blessed Ugolino is the remnant of an ancient Benedictine monastery, which depended on the abbey of Ferentillo and was originally dedicated to St. John the Baptist. After the death of Blessed Ugolino da Fiegni, a Franciscan hermit of the fourteenth century, his body was buried here and the church changed its name and became a destination for popular devotion.
