Suddenly, the spectacle of the Pian Grande plateau appears below me, dominated by the Sibillini mountain chain with the Redeemer ridge and protected by the village of Castelluccio di Norcia

From this panoramic point above Castelluccio di Norcia you can enjoy a splendid view of the Umbrian nature. Here you are almost at an altitude of 1,500 meters and Mount Veletta is not far away. Many people come here in spring, when the blooming of thousands of flowers makes the meadows very colorful.

Dirt road that from Fiastra allows you to reach various points such as Ussita, Ref. Casali and Ref. del Fargno. Bottom that is never too loose and can also be pedaled on gravel (I recommend at least 700x40). Always smooth slopes.

Lake Fiastra, like many of the lakes in central Italy, is of anthropic origin. It was formed following the damming of the Fiastrone river. It is the ideal place to enjoy a hot summer day away from the crowded beaches of the Conero.
