The "Portale di Diana" or "Pavilion of Diana" was the main entrance to the Barbarigo estate in the 17th century and was one of the first built works of Bernini's design (work started around 1662). This superb and imposing entrance door represents one of the most important places in the whole monumental complex of the Garden of Valsanzibio.
