Uja di Bellavarda is one of the most visited and well-known peaks in the Val Grande di Lanzo and in the entire Lanzo valleys. To reach the peak, which rises to 2,345 metres, the terrain does not present any particular technical difficulties other than the difference in altitude to be overcome on a path which always climbs rather steeply. The descent is a lot of fun! However, all the effort is rewarded by a unique view of Val Grande, the other peaks of the Lanzo valleys, the Gran Paradiso group and, in the distance, Monviso and the Maritime Alps chain.
