ベンブルビンは、氷河によって形成され、石灰岩と頁岩で構成された、ダーティ山脈の際立ったテーブルマウンテンです。そのシルエットは世界的に認識されており、ノース・スライゴの視覚的なハイライトを形成しています。

広大なモイ川河口に沿った穏やかな岸辺ルートで、水面と干潟の開けた眺めが楽しめます。ここでは、風雨をしのげる交通量の少ない道を走り、アシ原、小さな入り江、バリナ周辺の丘陵地帯の眺めが交互に現れます。海岸や街への穏やかで緩やかな起伏の連絡路として理想的です。

Enniscrone Cliffs Bath is a building built directly on the beach on the promenade in Enniscrone, County Sligo. This white building is rather unusual, resembling a strange castle with towers and battlements. Built in 1850 by the Orme family, it actually served as a thermal bath.

Belleek Wood is a lovely wooded ride into Ballina, from the north west of the river.

At this lovely spot and across the road is the Holy Well. It has a significance with the irish troubles and where the catholics made/built an outdoor church to worship, in a forest.

Carrowmore (Irish: An Cheathrú Mhór, 'the great quarter') is a large group of megalithic monuments. They were built in the 4th millennium BC, during the Neolithic (New Stone Age). There are about thirty surviving tombs from about 80. There may have been more monuments originally, but some fell victim to quarrying and field clearance during the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Carrowmere Megalithic Cemetery is one of the largest clusters of megalithic tombs in Ireland. There are the remains of over 35 impressive passage tombs that were constructed over 6,000 years ago. It is worth stepping off the bike and taking a look.

There is a large rectangular pool in front of the cliff baths that fills on each tide. The pool was nicknamed 'The Baby Rock' by mothers of the village that bathed their children in it during the summer months. Nowadays it is known as 'crab pool' for obvious reasons! The long white sand beach in front is a great spot to stop and have a picnic.
