Interesting to see, beautiful paths in the area through the heath in late summer/autumn it is in bloom and covers a lot of area!

A quick trip to the tourist information point to use the restroom...no problem, because the place is well-run and lined with various local animals. Just go in and enjoy everything it has to offer. The staff is friendly, too. It's worth 5 stars for me.

The Holländer See used to be Geldern's outdoor swimming pool. The lake was created during the construction of the railway embankment for the Cologne-Minden railway around 1870. In 1905, the resulting lake became the Geldern swimming pool. Before the Second World War, other sports facilities were to be built around the lake.
