A strenuous climb that rewards you at the top with magnificent views over the Schaffhausen vineyards and back into the Wutach Valley.

Very good gravel section, no problem even with narrow tires (06/2025)

The gravel section has a firm surface and is no worse than many asphalt roads, completely unproblematic with a racing bike (06/2025)

On the Schaffhausen side, there are two kilometers of gravel road, but it's easy to ride on a road bike. The gravel also has a fairly flat gradient, so going downhill isn't a problem either.

The wide Klettgau valley is wonderful to cycle on this quiet, flat cycle path.

Nice cycleway following along the Wutach river and always surrounded by fields and forests. The cycleway has no traffic with the exception of when passing through the smaller villages. The cycleway is very suitable for a road bike.

The Cycleway for the most part is on good smooth pavement, however the stretch of cycleway from Stühlingen to Eberfingen does have a few cosmetic rough spots.
