In 1901 he founded the Lega Industriale Biellese of which he was the first president; in 1911 he founded the Lanificio Scuola "Felice Piacenza" in Biella; he was among the founders of the Association of the Italian Wool Industry and significantly enlarged the Burcina Park started by his father Carlo.
