The Basilica of San Giovanni Bosco stands on Colle Don Bosco, in the hamlet of Morialdo, a hamlet of Castelnuovo Don Bosco, in the province of Asti, and is part of the Archdiocese of Turin. Dedicated to Saint John Bosco, it was erected between 1961 and 1966 on the site adjacent to the Cascina Biglione-Damevino, the saint's birthplace.

It is the house where San Domenico Savio lived after the family moved from San Giovanni. The house is now used as a museum of the Saint. The statue of San Domenico Savio inside is also interesting. For those who are passionate, or even just curious, about the history of Don Bosco and San Domenico Savio, a destination not to be missed.

The temple stands on the hill where, in 1815, San Giovanni Bosco was born who dedicated his life and works to young people in difficulty.
