Sciolze, a quiet hill town in the metropolitan city of Turin, is located 25 kilometers northeast of the capital. Immersed in a green area with a Monferrato appearance, it has historical origins documented since 1034 and takes its name from 'Sciulza', found in the archives of the Diocese of Turin.

The central square of the town presents various points of interest. A beautiful neoclassical chapel dedicated to San Rocco; several buildings that surround it; and above all, the statue of Don Bosco, which dominates the square. Continuing along quite steep streets you reach the upper part of the town, where you are rewarded for your efforts by other points of interest.
