Beautiful panoramic segment that runs along Lake Flumendosa. The road has surprisingly little traffic, and the road surface is in excellent condition. Challenging to do uphill, but the landscapes help make the effort feel less.

Small spring not marked on maps; always active and cool even in summer, it flows slowly but has two taps for a greater water flow. Excellent stopping and refilling point.
