Super bathing bays with clear water

Nestled between the Sulcis mountains and the Sulcis-Iglesiente coast, the Teulada marina boasts beautiful beaches, some of which (e.g. Porto Zafferano, Is Arenas Biancas, S'Ottixeddu) are included within the NATO polygon of Capo Teulada and can only be visited at certain times of the year.

Beautiful beach

Often considered the jewel of the southern coast, the bay of Tuerredda is made of light sand and turquoise water which make it one of the most evocative beaches in Sardinia.

At the southernmost end of Sardinia lies the Spiaggia di Chia, a beach with fine sand and clear blue sea. Thanks to its shallow water, it is particularly popular with families and swimmers and is often referred to as the "bathtub". Inflatable boats also find an ideal mooring place here. If you want to see the beach from a different perspective, you should take the short climb to the Torre di Chia. From there you have an excellent view of the bay and the surrounding sea. A visit to the Spiaggia di Chia promises both relaxation on the beach and a worthwhile view from the tower. A real highlight in the south of Sardinia.
