A town of about 2,500 inhabitants in the province of Oristano, Cuglieri stands on the ruins of the Phoenician-Punic city of Cornus and is today well known for the production of high quality olive oil. Of particular beauty in the municipal territory is the Cabu Nieddu waterfall, at the end of which the water ends up directly in the sea.

Close to the Su Cantaru Etzu fountain (located above it, near the little church) this fountain guarantees very fresh water all year round.

The mountain community road is a mountain road that cuts Montiferru in two and connects Santu Lussurgi and Santa Caterina, passing through the territory of Bonarcado, Seneghe and Cuglieri. The segment included in the highlight has been completely repaved (in August 2024) and is now passable by road bike up to the agricamping site. The climb is steep, 5km with a difference in altitude of 420m and an average gradient of 8%, which however repays the efforts with splendid landscapes and abundant blackberry bushes if you want to have a snack.

Beautiful in every season, but watch out for traffic: the best view of the promontory is from an area of the road without lay-bys.
