The Abbey of San Martino in Campo is a jewel located in a beautiful village at the foot of Montealbano, near Artimino. Despite its small size, the village is fascinating and the ancient abbey is of great interest. From the small church you can admire breathtaking views. From here start several paths that cross the slopes of Montalbano.

In a building dating back to the seventeenth century, the museum exhibits over 1000 pieces, the result of over 30 years of excavations in the territory of the Middle Valdarno Fiorentino, in the Lower Val di Pesa and in Montalbano. The exhibited material ranges from prehistoric times to the late Middle Ages, passing from the Metal Age, to the Etruscans and Romans. Among the most significant finds the gilded bronze basin with the effigy of Charlemagne (dating back to the beginning of the 12th century).

The Arch of Man, it is a typical example of those false nineteenth-century ruins that adorned parks and gardens. It was a trend that, in the early 1830s, placed fake classic artifacts, with the aim of ennobling modern structures. Once this arch represented one of the entrances to the villa for those arriving from the small river port that Villa Bibbiani had directly on the banks of the Arno. The arch, also called by the locals "arc of the witches", is located on the edge of a clearing, from here starts a staircase that climbs to the lawn behind the villa.
