The mural was created by the students of class 5BA of the Torricelli-Ballardini Art High School in Faenza, it depicts the figure of a young partisan courier on a bicycle against the backdrop of the Faenza hills, accompanied by the words of Bella Ciao, a symbol of memory and resistance. The choice of Tebano is not accidental. It was in this hamlet, together with nearby Pergola, that some of the darkest pages of the Second World War took place, being on the Gothic Line, gripped in the grip of war.

The church in Casaglia was dedicated to "San PIETRO". Simon, nicknamed Peter (Rock), was a fisherman on Lake Genesareth when he - together with his brother Andrew - was called by Jesus Christ to be a "fisher of men". According to Catholic understanding, he is the highest apostle, and the two thousand year long line of popes - currently Francis - are his successors. In statues and paintings, Peter is almost always depicted with two keys in his hand; this attribute refers to the Bible verse in Matthew: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Chapter 16, Verse 19). San Pietro is - together with San Paolo - also known as the "prince of the apostles"; their common feast day in the calendar of saints is June 29th.

The pass is located in the municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo, in the province of Florence, at 913 m above sea level, along the former state road 302 Brisighellese Ravennate. It takes its name from the hamlet of Casaglia, which is the first town you come across when descending from the Romagna side. The former Alpe di Casaglia state road 477 branches off from the pass in a northerly direction and, after passing the nearby Sambuca Pass, descends the Senio valley.

After passing the Passo della Colla, descending on the Lamone slope, after a few kilometers you reach the town of Casaglia (municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo) which is located just off the main road. The Church of San Pietro in Vinculis, in the center of the town, was built between 1905 and 1911 in modern Gothic style a few meters from the ancient Church of Pietra Santa in Casaglia built on the ruins of a Rocca degli Ubaldini. The Pieve di San Giovanni in Ottavo (called Pieve del Tho) can be found just over a kilometer from Brisighella. It is the oldest parish church built in the Lamone Valley. Its origins are very remote and date back to Galla Placidia, daughter of Theodosius, who had it built with the remains of a temple dedicated to Jupiter Ammon. The time of its construction is unknown, it probably arose between the 8th and 10th centuries.
