Beautiful picnic area with tables and grills, on a lawn by the lake. There is also a stall selling sandwiches and drinks, and firewood can be found on site (under cover near the fountain). Paid parking right next to it, it is a good place to start and go for a walk with a barbecue at the end.

Beautiful lawn overlooking Lake Poschiavo. On the route of several paths that connect Switzerland and Italy, this rest area is equipped with grills, a fountain and a stall selling food and drinks. Very cool and appreciable especially in the height of summer, it is an excellent point to stop before climbing (towards San Romerio or Viano for example) the surrounding mountains.

Beautiful nature reserve with a marshy area full of paths with variable settings. Mostly flat routes and fun little paths to cycle on in the woods and meadows. Very recommended, there are also places to eat in the summer.

From here you can walk along the eastern shore of the lake very nicely in the valley/level to Poschiavo (approx. 8 km). For us it was relaxed to take the Bernina train there 2 hours later (i.e. after getting off in Miralago).

The Palabione Lakes are located between the Valtellina Refuge (m. 1920 - tel. 0342 745069) and the Dosso Pasò (m. 2575), in the Aprica-Corteno ski area. The first lake you come across as you go up (2040 m) is an artificial basin which in winter is used for the production of snow for the ski slopes. The second (m. 2109) is the real owner of the name Lago Palabione and is located in a morainic basin. Of natural origin, it was slightly raised with a small barrier. These two lakes are connected to each other by a stream.

The Pian di Gembro Nature Reserve is an oasis of tranquility just a few minutes from Aprica. Lovero is mainly an agricultural centre. The dam for hydroelectric use on the Adda river led to the formation of various wetlands, including Lake Lovero. Along the cycle path that runs alongside it there are benches and tables, ideal for a break in the dense vegetation that characterizes the area.

very cozy little place at the upper end of the Lago di Poschiavo. Nice little albergo. The Rhaetian Railway runs right past the Albergo - really worth seeing.
