The cycle path through the Hasental is beautiful and easy to ride with a constant gradient

The Catholic parish church of St. Cyriakus was a collegiate church until 1803 and was probably built on the site of the monastery church of the same name, built after 861. Many female figures can be found in the church, such as Mater Dolorosa and St. Barbara, a Madonna from the circle of Jörg Syrlin the Younger (c. 1500), and Anna Selbtritt, the mother of Mary. Countess Katharina von Helfenstein (c. 1332–1386) is buried in the church. The Dotzburg Madonna, which plays a role in the following section, can be seen on the high altar. A memorial service for the witch hunts in Wiesensteig was held in this church. The vastness and beauty of this high valley is impressive. All along the way from Wiesensteig to here, one valley after another, each with its own unique beauty, is simply overwhelming. We are completely awestruck. The climb was almost imperceptible to us e-bike riders. The impressions along the way captured our attention.

After driving through the beautiful valleys up to and beyond the source of the Fils, I come through this valley and am overwhelmed by these great rock formations and the beauty of the valley.

If these aren't some wonderful Alb valleys, they're simply beautiful. An absolute Alb dream!

While the hiking trail runs along the Fils River below, the bike path leads over a small hill with a beautiful view of the Felstal valley. Almost a dream factory! The bike path is finely graveled and freshly graded.
