The Santa Maria del Bosco refuge is easy to reach and is equipped with fresh drinking water, toilets, BBQ sites, firewood, a room always open with a fireplace and wooden bunk beds, camping sites, swings and a football pitch.

The bivouac is certainly among the most beautiful in all of Sicily. Inside there is, among other things, a football field, a bowling green, electrical socket, toilet, as well as having several water points and connection to the Vodafone network. Also noteworthy is the excellent level of cleanliness and maintenance of the entire area. The only flaw for me is that it is located right on the path of the Via Francigena Normanna. I would have preferred a more isolated/further from the trail site.

It is perhaps the most beautiful bivouac ever seen in Sicily. Equipped with several drinking fountains, play area, football pitches and bowling greens, Vodafone internet connection available, electrical socket, toilet. The whole area is in excellent condition. The only flaw for me is that it is located right on the path of the Via Francigena Normanna, I prefer greater isolation.

Portella d'Addrichi is a Sicilian mountain pass, with an altitude of 1088 meters. In an area rich in biodiversity and natural beauty, from here you can access various hiking trails, including the one that leads to the Catafurco Waterfalls.

The Catafurco waterfall path starts from Galini, a hamlet in the municipality of Galati Mamertino. It is a dirt road of about 4 km that passes through Borgo Molisa and follows the course of the San Basilio torrent until it reaches the imposing waterfalls.

Very beautiful waterfalls, the path there is a bit monotonous and there is no shade!

Beautiful area equipped with Santa Maria del Bosco sui Nebrodi refuge in the Randazzo area, free admission, if you want to arrive by car you must ask for authorization from the forestry.
