The Lezírias Route offers the opportunity to enjoy the Vala Nova landscape via a 2-km diversion/branch route that begins near the Benavente Riverside Park and crosses the Sorraia River via a pedestrian bridge. This route allows you to complete two shorter sections (9 km and 13 km) and return to the starting point (Benavente or Samora Correia) via a circuit with a different landscape.

I highly recommend Olhos de Água, a river beach 🏖️ with top trails to enjoy pure nature that can be done on foot or by mountain bike, some of which are well signposted with bars next to the beach and there is a campsite for private individuals, it only has bungalows and a hotel, a true paradise 😜🤙🏽🚴🏽💨🚶🏽🏃🏽🏊🏽

It's not the Tagus River, but rather a lagoon called Lagoa de Alverca. I suggested changing the title, and now it's correct :-)

The Albufeira do Castelo do Bode is a large and spectacular reservoir, created by the dam of the same name on the Zêzere River. Algar da Cerejeira is a remarkable geological karst formation, that is, a natural cavity or vertical sinkhole.
