Sambuca di Sicilia preserves traces of its Arab origins, including the castle and the historic Piazza della Libertà. Sambuca is also famous for its sweet wine, a Moscato, and for having become one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy". The landscape that surrounds it, between hills and vineyards, offers breathtaking views.

A few cafes on the main street. Good place to get something to eat and drink even in winter.

There is a great panoramic path at the top of the cape. It is very steep on the south side, but on the north side there are various paths that lead down to the beach.

The Torre Salsa nature reserve is an oasis protected by the WWF. Inside the reserve, there is the Salsa Tower. The coast is characterized by high overhanging cliffs and the territory is covered with vineyards, olive groves and the "Secagno" tomato, which grows only in this drought area. In spring, the 20 species of orchids bloom which can be visited by following the path from the visitor center that leads to the orchid garden.
