The Candalla waterfalls are famous for providing summer refreshment to many tourists and locals alike. Interesting trails leading to the Apuan Alps begin here.

There is a rope next to the waterfall for those daring enough to climb up it.

You can cycle directly to the waterfall, then there is a great hiking trail that crosses the stream.

Beautiful nature but sometimes very impassable. From 2 km before the end no more path found. Had to slide down the slope and finally twisted the foot. Hobble back and 4 hours Krabkemhaus was the result.

The area hosts the Candalla waterfall system, a naturalistic jewel of the Apuan Alps. The point corresponds to the downstream part of the water system and from here a possible longer walking route begins. The place fills up easily in the summer, especially on weekends and holidays.

Depending on the season, you can find a small waterfall at this place. At our passage, the higher river bed was dry. A tributary causes water splashing.
