Wahnbachtalsperre is always beautiful, but especially in autumn.

On the edge of the village of Keldenich - part of the town of Wesseling - there is a small nature reserve with the lovely name "Entenfang". The lake shore cannot be reached directly - either on foot or by bike - as it is a nature reserve, but there is a small bird watching station on the side of the road. The fields and meadows bordering the lake area are a very popular destination, and are therefore visited accordingly, especially when the weather is good. (In the current weather, you can be "alone in the wide open spaces").

The water tower on the outskirts of Brenig - which belongs to the town of Bornheim - is one of the seven stations that can be hiked along the "Bornheimer Quellenweg". The Heimat- und Eifelverein Bornheim e.V. created and signposted this path two years ago. The vast majority of this path would also be suitable for cycling, but not entirely.
