On the highest peak of Monte Isola, at about 600 meters above sea level, stands the sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola, from whose surrounding courtyard you can enjoy a splendid view of Lake Iseo and the surrounding mountains. The sanctuary was completed in 1750 and is of great charm.

Wonderful view of the lake. For me personally it's more worth it than the church itself.

Peschiera Maraglio on Monte Isola. The largest and most popular place is Peschiera Maraglio on the southern tip of the island. Everything here is reminiscent of the most beautiful places in Italy, the medieval-looking buildings are arranged in a well-arranged manner up the mountainside. The clear water is very attractive, even if there is unfortunately no bathing area in the town. Shops and restaurants do their job brilliantly,

Breathtaking panoramic points. At the Sanctuary you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the lake, provinces and peaks. It is always worth a visit, perhaps avoiding the hottest and most crowded period of August

The Reserve, established in 1984, takes its name from the particular shape that the moraine deposit of sand, boulders and pebbles has acquired over the centuries, transforming into a strip of rock up to 30 meters high, with large masses lying on their top , to act as protective shields. Inside the Reserve, at a height between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, there is a circular route of medium difficulty, which allows you to closely admire the pyramids and erratic boulders which, presumably, in millions of years will become in turn earth pyramids.
