A fantastic highlight! Here you can really see a mill wheel "in action." This invention (of the Romans?) is truly ingenious. I like it.

A super nice tour, lots of asphalt roads, but also gravel paths, partly along the Mur, great views, beautiful towns, good food, great lakes and ponds, a short ride on the Mur ferry (free), highly recommended

Depending on which side you come from, the fantastic view of St. Anna is harder or easier to earn.

... from the church square there are wonderful panoramic views into the distance.

Purchased by Julius Meinl II in the 1920s, it was the first electricity supplier in the area, along with the mill and sawmill. It belonged to the Meinl Castle (Freudenau) in Crnci, on the other side of the Mur. Today there is a nice refreshment station here. Perhaps the buildings will become a museum one day
