Between the lower town on the lake and the upper town you have an excellent view of the upper town with its castle.

Porta Fiorentina in Bolsena, Italy, is a historical monument built in the Renaissance style in 1559 by Tiberio Crispo, a former cardinal and governor of Bolsena. It acts as a gateway to the old medieval castle village and leads to the Borgo district, where the famous Fontana dei Medici is located. The monument, also known as the Porta di San Giovanni, is a symbol of Bolsena's rich history.

In an extraordinary panoramic position above Lake Bolsena, Grotte di Castro has ancient Etruscan roots. Founded in the 7th century BC, the settlement maintained a certain importance until the 3rd century BC, when it became part of the dominions of Rome. Nearby is the suggestive necropolis of Pianezze. In the heart of the historic centre, in the building that once housed the mayor, there is the archaeological and popular tradition museum, which displays a notable collection of Etruscan finds. The sanctuary of Santa Maria del Suffragio, in baroque style, stands above an 8th century parish church and houses precious wooden inlays and the wooden statue of the Madonna del Suffragio, venerated as miraculous.

Lake of volcanic origin, nestled at the foot of the Cimini Mountains. It is possible to bathe in its waters. In a few minutes you reach the beautiful historic center of Ronciglione which is the closest town

check out the see side but do not miss the center either - well, do both :-)

It actually makes sense to just crisscross the beautiful streets to discover. Nice bars and restaurants invite you. The view then extends over the sea of roofs to the Church of St. Christina. Only the costumes are missing for the medieval feeling ;-)
