10月 30, 2024, Historic Railcars at Viechtach Station
The VT 07 railcar was built in 1952 by the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen for the Bentheim Railway. It eventually reached the Regentalbahn in 1977 via the Frankfurt-Königstein Railway. The vehicle was then used in the Regental and, after an overhaul in the mid-1990s, on the other routes in the Bavarian Forest. The 400 hp engine enables a top speed of 80 km/h. The railcar is currently used for special trips on the Viechtach - Gotteszell route.

A beautiful new mini golf course that opened in May 2024. Here you can have fun on 18 courses with different levels of difficulty. Right next door is a small beer garden with small dishes such as currywurst and the usual drinks. All in all, the city park is generally a great facility, ideal for children because of the playgrounds, volleyball courts, water and sand play area, an additional children's play area with balancing and climbing facilities. There is also a disabled-accessible toilet facility available for visitors to the city park, the mini golf course and the beer garden.
