In 2011, the pilgrimage site of Monte Sant'Angelo was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the seven components of the Lombard site in Italy, Places of Power (568 to 774 AD). Simply the most beautiful view on the coast. Everyone as they can, with e-bike or bicycle. Today I didn't meet a single cyclist on the entire coast.

A road that won me over, from the sea it takes you to the top of the Umbra Forest. I rode it in August in a torrid period, but I was constantly in the shade and cool. Long climb but rideable, asphalt in excellent conditions except for a few very short stretches closer to the coast of Vieste

The "stairway of love" was created by painting one of the stairs that connect the high gate of the old city with Corso Fazzini, specifically Via Petrone. The steps have the lyrics of the song "La leggenda di Pizzomunno e Cristalda" painted on them. It is said that walking along it with your loved one will make you stay together forever. It is very suggestive both during the day and at night.
