Climbing this peak in winter is a small undertaking, as reaching it involves a 25- to 30-kilometer round trip and about 1,000 meters of elevation gain, starting from Campomulo (Gallio cross-country skiing center). Once you've conquered it, however, it fills your heart and mind.

Cima della Caldiera is one of the highest peaks of the Asiago plateau 2124 meters.
