Yes, there are switchbacks in the Bavarian Forest too. As mentioned above, some of them have poor surfaces and very tight bends. But you should only drive according to the surface and the road/curve conditions ☝️.

No matter which side you come from, first a rapid descent, followed by a steep climb. Be careful in the curves from Perlesreut; the surface is poor, and some of the bends are tight and blind.
