Lake Brasimone (also known as the Scalere basin and the Brasimone basin) is an artificial lake located in the Bolognese Apennines along the Brasimone stream, in the municipality of Camugnano and is part of the Suviana and Brasimone lakes regional park.

to have the most effective views it is recommended to do this tour going up from Lagaro and first passing by lake Brasimone, the slopes are very similar but the first climbs will be sunny so it is better to do them early in the morning; in this way, however, the panoramic views of the lakes will be of great effect. Lake Brasimone is an artificial basin in the Bolognese Apennines. In addition to electricity generation, the construction of a nuclear power plant was proposed in 1976, but was stopped due to strong opposition from the local population and the abrogation of the 1987 nuclear power referendum.
