At the Rifugio Don Barbera, a large number of e-bikes can be charged (approx. 15-20). During peak season, the shed with the sockets is mercilessly overcrowded with bikes and it's a real shambles. Longer waiting times at the food counter. If you don't need to charge, I recommend driving on to the Rifugio Gardetta. You can park along the asphalt road taking advantage of the larger spaces, and then set off and arrive at the Refuge with reserve energy.

Nice refuge, easy to access if you arrive and park until the end of the asphalt road. If you start from lower down you need to have good legs.
