Fantastic as a climb from the Sp548 piece behind Badalucco. Very little traffic. Watch out for one or two potholes on the descent. In Carpasio again the possibility to add water refuel

The church of S. Bernardo is located on a particularly beautiful stretch of the Via Marenca, which, climbing from Pantasina, climbs to Monte Squassi and then towards Colle D’Oggia. The church was abandoned until a few years ago but a private individual has practically rebuilt it and brought it back to life. On the day of St. Bernard, August 20, mass is celebrated with refreshments. The adjacent water source is very useful.
