This location takes its name from the erosive phenomenon caused by the Rabbi river, in fact at this point the waters of the river have cut the rock on which they flowed into three parts, creating two small waterfalls. Premilcuore, like many other villages in the area, experienced its period of maximum expansion around the 13th and 14th centuries under the dominion of the Guidi family. In this period the castle known as Rocca di Premilcuore was built, today not much remains of this structure except one of the doors and remains of the walls incorporated into other buildings in subsequent periods. The life of Premilcuore is linked to the course of the Rabbi river. Today the river is a popular summer destination to escape the heat, while in the past the watercourse served to irrigate the surrounding fields and gave power to various mills in the area, two of which are still visible near the town.

Strabatenza is an abandoned village on the Romagna side of the "National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna", located on a slope (680 meters above sea level) sloping towards the Bidente di Pietrapazza which forms a suggestive valley.

This splendid nineteenth-century sanctuary can be reached with an easy walk from San Piero in Bagno. The short path is all uphill but the place is worth the effort. Right next to the sanctuary there is a picnic area ideal for a lunch completely immersed in the peace of the woods.

Sega waterfalls in Premilcuore, the Rabbi river creates a fantastic place where you can cool off after or during an outing in the beautiful woods of the area in the summer.

The Sega waterfall was so named in reference to how the Rabbi river "cut" the rock into three pieces. Below is a natural swimming pool, where in summer you can take a dip and enjoy the refreshing water. Leave your bike at the entrance and follow the path to the waterfall.
