A monument created by Renzo Orvieto commemorating the contribution of local peasants in the liberation struggle against the Nazi fascists. Erected in 1976 by the Badalucco Municipality together with the Institute for the History of the Resistance in Imperia. It depicts an armed partisan and a peasant standing shoulder to shoulder. At the foot of the monument are four stones recounting the successes of the local partisans, who, among other things, forced the "Nazi fascists" to surrender and established a free partisan republic. During the three days of July, the village of Mulini di Triora was plundered and burned by German soldiers as part of a reprisal. Most of the inhabitants managed to escape to the surrounding forests and villages. Thirteen people, including a 16-year-old girl, were locked in a house and burned alive.
