One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Italy. Created on the previous railway route, it offers a unique view of the beaches because they were otherwise inaccessible. These beaches have remained isolated, cut off by trains and effectively inaccessible for over 100 years.

The cycle path runs along the coast and offers wonderful views of the sea. The path is paved throughout. In December 2023 there were short diversions at two construction sites, apart from that the cycle path is separated from motorized traffic. Highly recommended for relaxed rounds, but understandably well attended.

Located close to the sea and built on the site of the old railway, the cycle path that connects various towns on the Riviera di Ponente, including Sanremo, is perfect for anyone who wants to cycle safely. It is always very popular, even with families and children. The Giro d'Italia began here in 2015, with a team time trial between San Lorenzo al Mare and Sanremo.
