Don't be fooled by the start of this tour: Over a distance of approximately 4.5 kilometers, the trail to the Griesner Alm covers an elevation gain of around 280 meters, with gradients of up to 14 percent toward the end. The narrow, paved road leads through the wildly romantic Kaiserbach Valley – surrounded by the rugged cliffs of the Wilder Kaiser. This quickly makes any effort disappear.

Very nice hotel. The Ritterstern restaurant is also great. In the evening it offers 2 menus for everyone to choose from and then head to the bar for a nightcap. Family run hotel.
