We are in one of the most beautiful squares in Tuscany! This stunning and unusual star-shaped medieval square is Piazza Garibaldi, a sort of open-air theater bordered by the city's most important historic buildings: the majestic Cathedral of San Cerbone, the Palazzo del Podestà, home to the Archaeological Museum, the Palazzina dei Conti di Biserno, the Palazzo dei Priori, now the town hall, Palazzo Malfatti with its loggia, and the more secluded Palazzo delle Fonti dell'Abbondanza.

The road is a quiet provincial road with little traffic and beautiful hilly landscapes. The Marsiliana State Reserve is part, for a large stretch, of the Montioni Natural Park and extends for approximately 450 hectares in a vast hilly area. An area for the protection of the hilly landscape and the "Maremma horse." Managed by the State Forestry Corps, the Marsiliana State Reserve extends around the villa of the same name and includes woods, Mediterranean scrub, pastures, and olive groves.

From the descent, known as "Schiantapetto," as from many other parts of Massa, you can see the sea. In the distance, you can even glimpse Follonica with its skyscraper.

A beautiful avenue leading to Bolgheri, the Castle: it was built towards the first half of the 14th century and, despite suffering several destructions, it was always rebuilt.

Beautiful route with great panoramas

A beautiful Tuscan country estate called San Guido, which houses an osteria and wine shop. The estate and its vineyards are located directly on the cypress avenue.
