The Ponte del Mare is a cable-stayed cycle-pedestrian bridge located in the city of Pescara and, with its 466 m length between the shoulders and the 172 m span of the suspended deck, it is the largest Italian cycle-pedestrian bridge and one of the largest in Europe.

On the portal there is a plaque commemorating the visit of San Francesco to Penne in 1216.
