Beautiful village with a lot of history

The Church of Santa Maria della Cerqua takes its name from the centuries-old oak grove on the hill crossed by the road that leads from Narni to Capitone. Tradition has it that, in 1576, a marble bas-relief of the Madonna and Child was found on an oak which was considered miraculous. In 1597, thanks to the intervention of Angelo Racani and Quintiliano Cardoli from Narni and based on a design by Gian Domenico Bianchi of Milan, the construction of the sacred building began and was completed in 1615.

Amelia is a city of Etruscan and Roman origins, located on a hill between the Tiber and Nera rivers. The polygonal walls are among the oldest in Italy and in the Archaeological Museum you can admire the bronze statue of Germanicus.

Fabrica di Roma, a few km from Lake Vico, is the ancient capital of the Falisci. Today it is possible to visit its archaeological parks and, between visits, taste the typical culinary products of the area.

Gallese is a small village in the province of Viterbo. Access to the historic center is marked by an arched door, and nearby the Palazzo Ducale is worth a visit, and the waterfall of the friars for a walk in nature.

Corchiano is an ancient Faliscan city, a people who shared the dominion of Tuscia with the Etruscans. The village retains its medieval layout, with winding alleys and suggestive little squares.

Civita Castellana is a village built on a tufa plateau. Its tuffaceous wall overlooking the Flaminia valley is an unmissable panorama. About ten km away is Monte Soratte, where there is a variety of footpaths and MTB trails.
