L'Eremo di San Bartolomeo in Legioは、アッバテッジョとロッカモリーチェの村々の間にあるマジェッラ国立公園に位置しています。これは、カポ・ラ・ヴェナ川が流れるヴァッローネ・デッロ・スピリトの岩壁に建てられた、非常に印象的な隠遁所です。隠遁所の礼拝堂は、ほぼ完全に岩盤に埋め込まれています。また、16世紀の祭壇があり、聖人を描いた19世紀の木像が収められたニッチがあります。 8月25日にはロッカモリーチェでサン・バルトロメオが祝われ、この機会に村人たちは隠遁所から村の教会まで、聖人の木像を行列で運びます。

The Vallone bridge represents a connection between the paths that lead to the upper part of the Orfento Valley and the circular ones that start from the Caramanico visitor center.

At the visitor center you can get all sorts of information, and it is also the starting point for some beautiful hikes.

The grandeur of the Orfento Valley can be fully perceived along this path, with incredible passages that wind along the edge of the valley, offering breathtaking views. Once you reach the bridge, the crystal clear water of the Orfento almost touches your shoes, accompanying you to the end of the itinerary, where you dive into the deepest part of the gorge.

The Hermitage of Sant'Onofrio all'Orfento, now in ruins, is set in a rock face. Of its original structure, mainly the portal arch and the side wall survive. On the front and side walls it is possible to notice residues of painted plaster, witnesses of a past full of colors and decorations.

The Orta valley is considered the heart of the Park. Here, together with the waters of the Orfento river, the river continues and then joins the Pescara river.
