The Marruvium Amphitheater represents one of the most significant archaeological testimonies of Roman power in the Marsi territory. Built around the 2nd century AD, the structure still retains parts of its imposing opus reticulatum walls and the elliptical shape of the original arena. Although it was partially stripped of its materials for other constructions in the past, it remains a fundamental symbol of the ancient Marruvian capital, once capable of hosting thousands of spectators for gladiatorial games.

Since no inscriptions have been found, it is thought that the Morronis are tombs or monuments in honor of important figures in society.
